Love, pain, love, pain

Vicious cycle of hope and defeat,
endlessly spinning, dizzying.
You were there.
Open arms broke my descent.
Unbreakable and breathtaking,
right where I needed you to be.
Those precious moments you let me cry,
or made me laugh, or held my hand,
extinguished the pain.
Silent tears no longer fall.

She is Me.You're distancing yourself again
But I'm afraid she won't be following you this time
She can't 'Forgive and Forget'
She'll forgive because it's the right thing to do
But the scar will remain as a reminder

She doesn't want to be with the people who hurt her
Like you did
She doesn't want to get close to those who don't trust her
Like you do
She doesn't want to be betrayed again

Stop questioning her all the time
Maybe that's the reason she doesn't speak?
Not to get close to anyone
Not to let information leak
Not to have anyone know, what she has become

She's too fragile
Very soon she may break
Yet she still searches for someone

The sky is never blue
Sunlight long forgotten
Just grey of every hue

Images of dismal tombs

All of my memories are pigeon holed
One section left vacant for all the dreams
A million for the dreams that they stole

All the boxes with perfect right angles
Protractor now set to ninety degrees
With such rigid habits I wont survive

It's best that way, mine are hidden away
And stay so very easily ignored

There's a vortex after death that leads to an underground cave

In which many of the souls He locked away could not be "saved"

And now they wander lost among the damned that dwell

Endlessly forever searching for the Gates Of Hell

Past the vultures that feasted on the broken bones

My wretched home was not that much different from those alone

The weapons of murder utilized can be checked at the door

Chances are if they are here they have used them once before

The gore that they spread to assassinate their foes

Led others to salvation and decimated woes

But now they are here to rejoice with the damned that dwell

You know, I should probably be angry about all this
I mean, I am dead after all...
Still, I suppose there could be worse things in life

Of course, it did hurt you know; when you shot me
Oh my god! I thought I've just been shot!
The bleeding wasn't the worst part of the ordeal though
Instead, the worst part of entire situation was the feeling of slowly dying
the feeling of losing the life inside your body...

Some might say that it feels like being buried in a blizzard
but for me, it was more like jumping head first into an icy sea
I couldn't move and I couldn't speak...
all I could do was to simply hang there limp and

Don't bother asking me how I am or
if you can help me, because you can't,
no one can...

Before you even start to feel sorry for me,
and go on some sort of "wild caring tangent",
be prepared for disappointment...

I come with too much emotional baggage,

and there is no way it can all fit through the door...

and this heavy burden on my own,
like the one before you and the ones before that...

I Know I Can't Win

Open eyelids see,
sad morning light.
Haunted by hands,
by words,
tortured by night.

Bruises are covered,
by make-up and clothes.
Tears dry,
smiles lie,
so nobody will know.

Blood lost by blood-lust,
desire and despise.
Feeding,
delicious fear,
from innocent eyes.

Today becomes tomorrow,
and the next and the next.
Tormented hands,
and lips pray,
for a day of sweet rest.

No daylight nor nightfall,
forbids more disdain.
But lessons learned,
lessen,
the measure of pain.
